Your request for page protection
[edit]I initially granted semi (not full) protection for your userpage, but not your talk page. I've since taken it off - you're a new user, so I think the protection would leave you unable to edit your own user page until you became auto-confirmed. Although you're entitled to ask for semi-protection of your userpage, it does seem a slightly strange thing for a brand new user to ask for - was there anything in particular behind your thinking?
