Speedy deletion of Water One

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Water One, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Blowdart | talk 12:54, 31 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deleting content

[edit]

As I explained on the article talk page, I couldn't find any information on these products on the company's website. Thus, their sale (and their very existence) is completely unverifiable. If Water One indeed sells anything but bottled water, please provide a reliable source. Huon (talk) 15:43, 31 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

edit warring

[edit]

You are edit warring at Water One. Edit warring is not allowed. If you carry this back and forth of restoring uncited content against consensus, you will likely be blocked from editing. Gwen Gale (talk) 15:47, 31 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How do i do this. This company doesnt really operate on the web. Does that make them wrong or the product bad? no. Would pictures of the trailers and pure sip be a good enough citiation.

I've deleted the article as blatant advertising, with conflict of interest as another worry. Please don't recreate it, thanks. Gwen Gale (talk) 15:54, 31 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 16:10, 31 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Water one

[edit]

I have nominated Water one, an article you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Water one. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. • The links you put under references, are just domain names, they do not link to specific pages within that site. That is dangerous because front pages of sites often change. Also, references are supposed to be independent from the company itself. You can use company pages to establish some obscure facts, but to establish it's worth an article, you need to show others have written about them. - Mgm|(talk) 20:38, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
