Information icon Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Environmental impact of aviation has been undone because it did not appear constructive. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Mike4ebooks/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. | Uncle Milty | talk | 12:15, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and thank you for your recent contribution. I appreciate the effort you made for our project, but unfortunately I had to undo your edit because I believe the article was better before you made that change. Specifically, your edits seem to be unencyclopaedic and inappropriate for the article. See WP:NOT. Feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions. Thank you! Your edits

Now I think I understand. You want to use Wikipedia to write about your work. That is actually not allowed. Writing about yourself or about the things to which you are personally connected is called WP:Conflict of Interest, and is not allowed at Wikipedia. Also, it seams to me that you do not understand how Wikipedia works. You keep inserting text about your work everywhere: to articles, other users' talk pages, your user pages, etc. Such behavior is disruptive. You have to understand that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. It is not a repository of all possible information in this World. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia like any other, just larger. It has articles about topics that are notable enough, not about every single existing topic. Wikipedia has it's own definition of notability (see: WP:N). I don't know if you and your work are notable enough for Wikipedia, but if you are notable enough, somebody else will eventually write an article about yourself. You should not write about yourself because of the WP:COI. Vanjagenije (talk) 22:39, 29 January 2016 (UTC) Many thanks for your good advice, I hope one day to be worthy of a mention in Wikipedia. As I truly believe politics are made too complex for the general public to understand clearly, thats why we have a low voting turnout and weak politicians.Mike Mumford 23:46, 29 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
