Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! Hope you like it here, and stick around.
Here are some tips to help you get started:
- To sign your posts (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes).
- Try the tutorial, and feel free to experiment in the test area.
- If you need help, post a question at the help desk or at my talk page.
- Read the simplified ruleset and the five pillars of Wikipedia.
- Eventually, you might want to read the manual of style and policies and guidelines.
- Remember to write in a neutral point of view.
- Explore, be bold in editing pages, and, most importantly, have fun!
Again, welcome, and good luck! :D -- Elisson | Talk 00:12, 13 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Delete vandalism
[edit]I wrote several arguments why the article should be restored. Unfortunately, i twas all erased without discussion. Could anyone restore the article so the arguments can be answered?????
- Please discuss this in User_talk:Dragonlance. Also, please use ~~~~ to insert your username to edits.
Deletion notices
[edit]When marking an article for speedy deletion, please add the template to the existing contents rather than replacing them. Admins trawling the candidates for speedy deletion need to be able to see what's there to determine whether it qualifies as a candidate for speedy deletion. Also, instead of putting your reason for deletion on the talkpage (which, if it doesn't already exist, makes more work for admins, as the talkpage must be deleted as well), it would be better if you would use the {{db}} ("delete because") template, with your reason as a parameter. Finally, please note that you are marking the article for speedy deletion in your edit summary. Thanks! — Gwalla | Talk 05:45, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Help?
[edit]I have been bollocked from editing for violating Wikipedia policy against climbing the Reichstag dressed as Spiderman.
