Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Islam in Ethiopia, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Hijira. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Pictures
What on are the names of the pictures used in the Mogadishu infobox? Can they be added like others, eg. Rome, Istanbul, etc.? Even better, can we include the Old Gate for Mogadishu, Arba'a Rukun Mosque, Ahmed Gurey Square, a more updated picture for the port, etc? Basically anything historical in Mogadishu would he great! Also, I might be able to proved some pictures but I am not sure if I am allowed to since these are mine but posted on the internet by individuals. AcidSnow (talk) 20:39, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
- The Mosque of Islamic Solidarity, the airport, the seaport, and the Hisbayiga Mosque are some of the available landmarks. Best regards, Middayexpress (talk) 21:07, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
Regional states
Side note, do these new regional states make the old ones obsolete? AcidSnow (talk) 20:59, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
- If by that you mean Galmudug and Himan and Heeb, they are to be incorporated into the new Central State. Per the constitution, a Federal Member State must be formed by two or more of Somalia's 18 official administrative regions. Best regards, Middayexpress (talk) 21:07, 18 April 2015 (UTC)

Commons
An individual on Wiki Commons has been constantly reverting me on this map. Do you mind assisting me? AcidSnow (talk) 18:53, 2 May 2015 (UTC)
- No prob. Middayexpress (talk) 18:57, 2 May 2015 (UTC)
- Thank you. Also, I limited Zanzbiars claim to the coast of Kenya since ethnic Somalis don't inhabit Kenya's coast. Likewise, Zanizibar had no control over any Somali territory. It has nothing to do with present day boundaries. AcidSnow (talk) 19:04, 2 May 2015 (UTC)
- Yeah, it seems that he's assuming that when the Zanzibaris leased some property in Mogadishu, they were leasing the land itself rather than simply a few buildings they had constructed on that land. The land was of course actually owned by what was then left of the Sultanate of Mogadishu, which by that time had become a vassal to the Geledi Sultanate. Best regards, Middayexpress (talk) 19:11, 2 May 2015 (UTC)
- Yeah, posing a fort means very little, espacily when you have to ask another person for permission. AcidSnow (talk) 19:17, 2 May 2015 (UTC)

Citizenship
Did they give full/limited citizenship to Somalis like they did in Libya? I believe we discussed something similar before. Looking back now I understand your "frustration" you had with me then. AcidSnow (talk) 19:38, 5 May 2015 (UTC)
- I'm not sure; possibly. The Majeerteen Sultanate and Sultanate of Hobyo had signed treaties, so they ruled in their areas until the 20s. Best regards, Middayexpress (talk) 19:51, 5 May 2015 (UTC)

I've given the IP a warning. I see that they haven't been back in over 24 hours so their IP might change. CambridgeBayWeather, Uqaqtuq (talk), Sunasuttuq 16:10, 6 May 2015 (UTC)

Football
Did you hear about how Kenya refused to host the Somalia vs. Rwanda because they claimed that the team won't return home? It's a completely ludicrous accusation to make by Kenya. Especially considering the fact that they volunteered to play. What is your take on this? An isolated incident or the beginning of something else? AcidSnow (talk) 23:24, 6 May 2015 (UTC)
- It's much ado about nothing, imho. Best regards, Middayexpress (talk) 15:24, 7 May 2015 (UTC)
