False positive

[edit]

Sorry about the false positive. I'm new to edit filters, and didn't correctly consider the consequences of mine. Anything with Dan should be able to go through now.—CYBERPOWER (Chat) 22:03, 9 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Associated acts

[edit]

At the infobox guideline, Template:Infobox_musical_artist#associated_acts, the instructions tell us that only very closely connected artists are to be listed as associated acts. Please read the guideline and stop adding so many artists. Binksternet (talk) 03:03, 10 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Kendrick Lamar (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver)
added links pointing to George Clinton and Drake
Belly (rapper) (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:25, 12 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Chris Brown, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. You have already been cautioned by User:Binksternet about how to add names of associated acts to an musical performer's infobox. Magnolia677 (talk) 07:30, 14 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Big Sean. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Binksternet (talk) 15:25, 14 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/MusicLover650, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Stop inflating "associated acts" list

[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia. Only working on one or two songs together IS NOT by itself enough for someone to qualify as an associated act. Please read Template:Infobox musical artist#associated acts, especially if you haven't already, and desist with the inflations. I sadly wouldn't be surprised if you've been purposefully disregarding notices, but please improve your behavior either way by not making so many incorrect additions. You'll otherwise probably get reported and blocked. Snuggums (talk / edits) 04:13, 16 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

2019 in American music

[edit]

Repeatedly recreating an article is disruptive editing. I have moved your most recent attempt to Draft:2019 in American music so that you can work on it, but you seriously need to start listening to what the community is saying to you about sources, communication, and WP:CIR in general. You are very close to being indefinitely blocked from editing. – Joe (talk) 07:18, 19 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
