- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or sock puppetry.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!
Michael Nock has over 35 years experience working in the financial services industry. He started his career as a security analyst in 1976 with the Sydney based brokerage firm Bain & Co, before moving to Hong Kong in 1980 to join Merrill Lynch, where he established an office servicing Asian based fund managers investing in the United States. Three years later he co-founded Anderson Man Investment Services Limited, a financial services business based in Hong Kong, which was a joint venture with E.D. & F. Man Ltd. (now the Man Group PLC. listed on the London Stock Exchange). From 1987 to 1990 he was the managing director of E.D.& F. Man Pacific Limited, the Hong Kong publicly listed subsidiary of the group. In 1994 Nock was hired as an asset manager and in-house investment advisor in Hong Kong, before he established the Doric Group in 1999. He was the major shareholder and managing director of the Doric Group until January 2009 when he sold control of the group to the Doric management team and Hamon Investment Group. Later in the same year he established Michael Nock & Associates as an investment advisor providing services to a number of private and family portfolios. In 2010 he established an investment fund. In 2012 Michael Nock acquired an art leasing company, the first company in Hong Kong to provide art leasing services to corporations.
Michael Nock is himself a practicing artist primarily focused on oil painting. He holds both a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Fine Arts from the Californian Institute of the Arts (Cal Arts) and currently serves on the board of Trustees of Cal Arts. He is also involved in numerous community based art initiatives through The Nock Art Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation he established in 2013.

A tag has been placed on Michael nock, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
- It appears to be a clear copyright infringement of http://www.art-lease.com/michael_nock/main/en/. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. However, even if you use one of these processes to release copyrighted material to Wikipedia, it still needs to comply with the other policies and guidelines to be eligible for inclusion. If you would like any assistance with this, you can ask a question at the help desk.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
