Jackman photo

[edit]

Hi, Michael. Thanks for discussing. I was referring to the microphone that goes right up to his face and covers one shoulder and the water bottle in the foreground. Also, given that he doesn't generally wear a Wolverine beard in everyday life, the extant image, in addition to be better focused, tighter and uncluttered, is more representative. You've uploaded several photos — it'd be highly unusual for any editor if every single one stayed without another editor having a reasoned objection to one or another.

It's an unfortunate thing so many living people can only be photographed at a panel, with a mic in front of them, in order for Wikipedia to be able to have a free-use image, and I applaud your and other editors' efforts in filling gaps. I think in this one particular case, the extant image already was excellent. Which is a good thing, obviously. --Tenebrae (talk) 03:52, 18 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You raise some excellent points Tenebrae. Thanks for supporting them sufficiently. I see where your coming from and I now agree it's best to keep the extant image. Have yourself a great day. - - Michael J. Scofield

Just letting you know that I reverted a couple of the photos that you added to a few articles, as they were of lower quality (colors, angle, crop, sharpness, etc). Excellent addition to the Joseph Gordon-Levitt article, however. Nymf (talk) 13:29, 30 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I apologize for that. I usually work with photos using a tablet, but for the next 3 days, I have no choice but to use a Mac. Still, I'll try my best. Thanks for the compliment on JGL's pic!
