If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on PMD emulation applications requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Speedy deletion nomination of Polarization mode dispersion (PMD)[edit]

Hello Mia0908,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Polarization mode dispersion (PMD) for deletion, because it's too short to identify the subject of the article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Roches (talk) 06:52, 8 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest policy[edit]

Information icon Hello, Mia0908. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. People with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, see the conflict of interest guideline and frequently asked questions for organizations. In particular, please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, its competitors, or projects and products you or they are involved with;
  • instead, propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing, and autobiographies. Thank you.--Srleffler (talk) 00:40, 15 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Preview button[edit]

Hi Mia0908. I notice that when you edit pages, you make a whole bunch of small edits, as if you're making changes and then saving the page to see what effect they have. There is a button in the edit window labelled "Show preview". It's right next to the "Save page" button. If you click the former button, it will show you what the article will look like after your change, and leave you in the editor so you can refine your edit further. Click "Save page" once you're sure your edit looks the way you want. That way other editors won't see your edit as a whole chain of tiny little changes, but rather one clear edit.--Srleffler (talk) 00:46, 15 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Also, don't delete tags like "[[Category: Optics]]" or anything in double-curly brackets, like "{{Authority control}}". These tags attach various kinds of data to the article and help keep the encyclopedia organized and properly formatted. You seem to often end up deleting them while trying to edit.--Srleffler (talk) 03:57, 15 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
