[edit]Hello, Mhyoungdcccd. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. People with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, see the conflict of interest guideline and frequently asked questions for organizations. In particular, please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, its competitors, or projects and products you or they are involved with;
- instead, propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the
{{request edit}}
template); - avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.
Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing, and autobiographies. Thank you. ElKevbo (talk) 16:03, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
Your addition has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. All such contributions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. ElKevbo (talk) 16:04, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
Relationship with Dallas College?
[edit]Do you have a relationship with Dallas College? Are you being paid to edit articles related to the college? ElKevbo (talk) 21:26, 1 October 2020 (UTC)
- Mostly I'm just trying to get things more up to date. Dallas College is a new name and most of the old site links no longer work or are redirecting. Is there another method I should be using to try to edit? mhyoungdcccd 20241227100629
- Can you please answer the questions that I asked? Your username strongly implies that you have a connection to the college as do your edits. Our policies prohibit undisclosed paid editing and strongly discourage editing if you have a conflict of interest. ElKevbo (talk) 21:54, 1 October 2020 (UTC)
- I am an employee. Can you help me with the best method for getting updates made to these pages? The old college domains no longer exist. mhyoungdcccd 1 October 2020
