Jenny Lee's Peer Review

For Hanoi article: Modern Hanoi section: I think it's a really good idea to include the cultural history of Hanoi from the 80s because currently, this section only includes statistics from the past decade or so. Adding information from the 80s wouldn't overlap with the currently existing information in the article either. Economy section: I'm a bit confused - are you planning on creating a new "Development" subsection within "Economy"? One pro of creating a "Development" subsection is that there seems to be a lot of information that is specific to the relationship between the economy and development. However, one con that I think you should consider is that if you make a "Development" subsection, then you should make subsections for the trade, agriculture, and infrastructure too, since information about those areas are also included.

For Community Development article: Vietnam section: If you make a section for Vietnam, I think you should make it a subsection under Asia. Currently, there is a section for the "Global North" and the "Global South". I think Vietnam may be too specific of a section, so maybe consider making an "Asia" section? I'm suggesting this because in the Peer Review training, they mentioned that we should try to proportionately reflect the amount of information that is out there. So if Vietnam is going to be represented, then other countries in Asia should be represented as well.

Overall: A lot of your work seems to be in the planning process still, which is totally fine! I think it shows that you've put a lot of thought into how you want to best improve on these articles. However, it would be great if you started drafting the exact words you want to add to each article, so we could help peer review that too!

I learned about the different community development programs that are in place in Vietnam today as well as the progression of how they came to be implemented. I love the change that you made in the section about Yunus and his aims/reasons for why he created the Grameen bank model.

There are a few simple changes you can make. First of all, since you are adding a Vietnam section you can add a heading so that Vietnam shows up under " In the global south" in the contents box. That would make it easier for those who are interested specifically in Vietnam to read the information! It could also help to expand on some of the info in the Vietnam section because you discuss three different development programs but not in detail. Akalra.18 (talk) 00:17, 25 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
