Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Mgb86, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Elysia and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.
I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Switching to visual editor
[edit]Hi Mgb86, if you are stuck in "edit source" mode, you can switch to visual editor by clicking the pencil icon in the upper right corner of the editing interface (picture attached, click to enlarge). If you want to make visual editor your default editor, you can click your "preferences" in the top toolbar. Click the tab that says "editing" then scroll down to where it says "editing mode" with the dropdown menu. You'll want your dropdown menu to either be on "show me both editor tabs" if you want to see both the "edit" and "edit source" buttons or "Always give me the visual editor if possible" if you only want to see the "edit" button and not edit source.
That should work for enabling your visual editor! If you're still curious though, bolding in source editor is done by adding three apostrophes on either side of the text you want to bold. So '''Hello'''
produces Hello. Hope that helps. Elysia (Wiki Ed) (talk) 19:27, 25 November 2019 (UTC)
Part 2
[edit]Hi, the table of contents is automatically generated based on the titles of your sections. So if you edit the section titles, the table of contents will automatically update to reflect that. The formatting has been fixed for your article. Thanks, Elysia (Wiki Ed) (talk) 17:07, 26 November 2019 (UTC)
