DS alert

[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in Armenia, Azerbaijan, or related conflicts. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}} on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Chill

[edit]

Your edits aren't productive, as it seems like you add / remove material based on personal preference and not on any consensus building. Please make sure to read WP:ONUS, WP:NPOV, WP:CONS, WP:ENGAGE. ZaniGiovanni (talk) 00:26, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I am reading those materials. Thank you. Mfikriansori (talk) 14:33, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. ZaniGiovanni (talk) 11:06, 31 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

April 2022

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. ZaniGiovanni (talk) 00:40, 1 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Warning

[edit]

Hey. Look, the WP:AA2 topic area is highly contentious. So please slow down with the contested edits. Maybe better familiarize yourself with policy and general conventions of the English Wikipedia in less contentious topics first...? In any case, some of your edits are disruptive to the point of being sanctionable, so please take note. Thanks in advance for your close attention to this matter. El_C 11:16, 18 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I don't understand why only my edits deemed as disruptive or problematic. Isn't what some other users did along with ther enforced edit in the name of consensus also problematic? Threatening me with sanction and warning? I just object the clear, obvious, and ridiculous practice, which I observed as you can put Armenian name for any article you wish, ranging from Ganja city in Azerbaijan, Lake Urmia, Nemrut volcao, etc. Meanwhile putting Turkic/Tatar/Azerbaijani names for places like Lake Sevan, Hadrut, etc. is highly disputed. Thanks for your concern. Wikipedia then can't describe itself as a free encyclopedia when one party is above othe, enforcing their POV in disguise of consensus and limitated the move of other editor like me. Mfikriansori (talk) 16:56, 18 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not threatening you and this is the warning. The disruption may be a product of you diving into a contentious topic without a good understanding of the basics of editing here. You might be violating WP:FALSEBALANCE or WP:POINT and not know that you are doing it. But you will need to review the pertinent documentation eventually, or it's probably not gonna work out.
Which is to say: you get some allowances for being new but only to a point. Naming conventions usually follow language usage or history or whatever per that given locale. If you wish to challenge something on that front, you'll need to engage in discussion on that particular article talk page. But your argument would need to be policy-based. Which, again, is why I'm suggesting you familiarize yourself with the basics first, so you are able to argue on the basis of policy rather than... whatever else. Warning- general disruptive editing

[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia. Archives908 (talk) 12:29, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, please. But won't it be funny when you threaten me like that, labelling my edits as disruptive editing, but the very same edit by other users (eventhough they are editing in English Wikipedia longer than me) are okay and cool.Mfikriansori (talk) 15:23, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Uh, I just check your profile, a pro-Armenia user. That's exactly why I keep getting ganged here for my contribution, now by you, but before that by Zani Giovani, that Kevo guy, Laurel Lodged, Louis Aragon, History of Iran, etc. Thank you guys. This all makes Wikipedia a very interesting free encyclopedia. What I added or removed, almost all of them got reverted, even when I only edited it just for them to look balance or them same. Like Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, I removed the dispute and territorial claims, it reverted by Laurel. But when I put the exact same words, Zani Giovani removed it because it is color coded map. Isn't the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic's file also color coded? Why double standard? It is fine if we couldn't do perfectly balance in all article. But this is ridiculous and questionable. Mfikriansori (talk) 15:29, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your discriminatory tone is not appreciated. When at least 6 other experienced editors tell you that your edits are disruptive...you should probably pay attention to the rationale and learn from your mistakes. Archives908 (talk) 16:33, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Neither I appreciated with what you guys did with my edit, which I don't intended to disrupt anything. How can adding an alternate name be seen as disruptive? I removed the same alternate names from that one specific language to make them balance, at least on my unexperienced mind. It is me that being discriminated here. But, yeah, I don't know, probably my presence as unexperienced editor is literally disturbing the harmony of wikipedia, a free encyclopedia. Mfikriansori (talk) 18:02, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You should really stop the passive-aggressive remarks already, see WP:NPA. You're also still using the WP:FALSEBALANCE and WP:POINT flawed logic you were asked to stop. As an example, you again reverted an editor today in Azerbaijan Democratic Republic based on false edit description of "ZaniGiovani said, the map is color coded". I didn't tell you anything about that map, I used that argument in First Republic of Armenia map. You were asking the difference between these?
The map in Azerbaijan Democratic Republic fails to differentiate what the Azeris actually controlled and what they didn’t. Moreover, the First Republic of Armenia map is based on Wilsonian Armenia. Is the Azeri map based on anything noteworthy? ZaniGiovanni (talk) 18:29, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Warning- general disruptive editing

[edit]

you delete all my edits because you are pro azerbaycan user. stop or you are blocked Əfşar Əliyev (talk) 18:37, 20 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit is nonsense, discriminatory, and full of hatred against Azerbaijan. Even you put "so-called" to imply that Azerbaijan is fake or simply doesn't exist. Your freaking behaviour can't be tolerated. Your edits are disruptive. I will report you soon. Mfikriansori (talk) 18:39, 20 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You put Azeri name in front of Kurdish castle. how nonsensical can you be. you have gotten 5 warnings, you will be reported not me — Preceding unsigned comment added by Əfşar Əliyev (talkcontribs) 18:43, 20 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hahaha, I am laughing. At least now I am listening to warning and advice given by other experienced editors. You? You simply show your hatred towards Azerbaijan and vandalised a lot of articles. You are not tolerated anymore.
It is Kurdish castle, then why you let the Persian name there? West Azerbaijan has Kurds and Azerbaijani as the first and second largest ethnicities there. Both Kurdish and Azerbaijani are the main mother tongue there. To remove the Azerbaijani name, you need to reach a consensus. Mfikriansori (talk) 18:47, 20 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

you need concencus to put azerbaycan name there. it is a castle of Kurdish area in Iran. What does it have to do with azerbaycan.

Instead of laughing you can ask yourself why you hate iran and Kurdish and Armenian like an obsessed — Preceding unsigned comment added by Əfşar Əliyev (talkcontribs) 18:48, 20 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Look at this: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/File:Wirme-1.webp. almost all West Azerbaycan is Kurds. but your bias makes you put foreign name in foreign area like a vandalist

You put self-proclaimed and occupied in front of Artsakh to say that it is fake or does not exist.

to say in your words:

Your freaking behaviour can't be tolerated. Your edits are disruptive. I will report you soon.

Stop your nonsense. I do not hate Armenia, Kurds, or Persia/Iran. Unlike you and your bias edit. Mfikriansori (talk) 18:50, 20 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Stop your nonsense. I do not hate Azerbaycan, I am from Türkiye. Unlike you and your bias edit.
Turkey? Like I care. You will be reported. Mfikriansori (talk) 19:03, 20 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring, as you did at Republic of Artsakh. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  signed, Rosguill talk 19:04, 20 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Rosquill, I don't know what to say to know that I have been blocked. But, could you please to take a look my last edit of the article of Republic of Artsakh? Here you can check -> [1]. I created a new subsection of Current status section, as well as expand the political status subsection. I did them with citations, not from thin air.
You blatantly blocked me, but you let Əfşar Əliyev with its hateful, discriminatory, and disrupting editing go? Look at what he said. He removed almost entire of the displaced people.
But, thank you. I appreciated what I got. Mfikriansori (talk) 19:10, 20 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
My actions were based not on the content of your edits, but due to your violation of the 3-revert rule. That is a bright red line you must not cross, that you have been warned about before. When facing conflict around edits, you are expected to start a discussion and work towards consensus on the article's talk page. Continued WP:BATTLEGROUND attitudes are likely to result in further blocks and topic-bans. signed, Rosguill talk 19:15, 20 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Didn't Əfşar Əliyev also violated the 3-revert rule regarding the edit war of article of Republic of Artsakh? Here you can check by yourself -> [2]. I didn't know about the rule and I honestly apology if my response was rude. I am shocked to be blocked. Because after many warning I got from other editors, I try to change and instead of involving myself in an edit war, I try to improve and add citation/content in various article. That's what I did, my edits did to Republic of Artsakh article.
My violation of the 3-revert rule was because I tried to stop Əfşar Əliyev from removing anything he perceived as pro-Azerbaijan, anti-Armenian, and anti-Iran. His stance you could see them here -> [3]. He even vandalised the article of Armenian Mouflon by adding so-called into "In (so-called) Azerbaijan, an estimated 250 to 300 mouflons are found in the Nakhijevan Autonomous Republic."
Because I know in this case I am wrong, so I won't appeal for being unblocked. Thank you. I will start my edit routine once the blocking time is expired tomorrow with a good faith and reason. Mfikriansori (talk) 19:26, 20 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
FWIW, I blocked Əfşar Əliyev as well for violating 3RR right after you, and for some of the more aggressive comments that he left here. I hope this is enough of a policy reminder for both of you to avoid personal attacks, focus on content, and avoid edit warring. signed, Rosguill talk 19:28, 20 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
"Avoid personal attacks, focus on content, and avoid edit warring", very powerful message. Thank you. Mfikriansori (talk) 19:30, 20 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

There is an article for internal displaced people. it has nothing to do with artsakh, work on that article instead when the ban is over. you put in information that has nothing to do with the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Əfşar Əliyev (talkcontribs) 19:13, 20 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It is present there long before my edit. Mfikriansori (talk) 19:14, 20 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

after your ban it is still necessary

Sea games indonesian medal

[edit]

DONT TRY TO CHEAT. IN INDONESIAN PAGE, IT IS CLEAR AND ALSO WE HAVE THE COMPLETE LIST FROM INDONESIA INOC. DONT TRY TO DECREASE INDONESIAN GOLD MEDAL. CHEATER Danfisitb (talk) 04:26, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Dear friend, I am Fikri as well as your Indonesian fellow currently residing in Bengkulu. I am not a participant of the current SEA Games, of course not a cheater as well.
I don't know why you and several other user, keep inflating the number of gold medals earned by Indonesian team. It is not about cheating or what, but the information I have written there is exactly from the primary and official source. Because we cite them as the main citation, the information inside the medal tally must be or in accordance of that very official source.
I am not a big fan of this kind of personal harassment. They way you call me cheater is a hit harsh and unfortunatel, I will report you to the Administration Board. Thank you. Mfikriansori (talk) 07:35, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Dud, look the indonesian team medal list (it is the following page). It is from Koni. No inflating, instead you took from Cambodja govt who wants to keep them in 3rd rank. Don't be stupid lah. Detik and Kompas also have lists. The guys who changed are not only me. Danfisitb (talk) 07:50, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The official govt from this event is corrupt. So, that's why I take the source from each country representative (not the govt). This sea games has lot of cheating. I am wondering how much that cambodia govt paid you. Danfisitb (talk) 07:58, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
CHECK AGAIN IN THE NEXT LIST AND COUNT THEM MANUALLY. Danfisitb (talk) 07:51, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
