Speedy deletion of Tony crank

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Tony crank requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you. I have noted the "hangon" tag you left on the article Tony crank. However, I can see no evidence within the article that the individual in question comes close to meeting notability requirements, and there are no reliable sources to bolster any claims that are made. I have therefore decided to agree with the editor who tagged the page for deletion. Should you wish to reverse this decision, which I note has already been made twice for two different capitalizations of the individual's name, you might try the deletion review process. If you have any questions, you can leave me a note. Accounting4Taste:talk 23:14, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You have been accused of sockpuppetry. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Roshanluke252 for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with notes for the suspect before editing the evidence page. FlyingToaster 22:45, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
