== Ashin Mettacara Ashin Mettacara (born May 1, 1980) is a Burmese Buddhist Monk from Wuntho. Mettacara, who studied buddhist studies at the Buddhist and Pali University, rose a special bhikkhu with his first application software. His recent open projects include the Kelli Media Player and Pali Pronouciation. Both applications were successful. For his mastering in the Pali and Programming Language, Mettacara was honored the best of Programmer and Highest Mark in Pali award.

Ashin Mettacara was born in Wun Tho, Sagaing Division, Burma in 16/04/1980. He was ordained a novice in 1994 and a monk in 2000. He studied Buddhism at Khanti Pariyatti Monastery (Wun Tho, Sagaing Division, Burma), Wayalet Pariyatti Monastery (Rangoon, Burma) and Man Aung Monastery (Rangoon, Burma). I passed Buddhist examinations known as Pathamange, Pathamalatt, Pathamagyi in Burma. He studied B.A and M.A programme in Colombo, Sri Lanka and has successfully completed B.A and M.A from the Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka. While he was studying in the Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka, in September 2007, there was a Saffron Revolution in Burma. The military regime cracked down the peaceful protestors who mostly are Buddhist monks. As he could not reconcile himself with the current military regime’s brutal crackdown to our Buddhist monks, peaceful protestors and human rights abuses, he became involved in the Burmese politics as an exile.
