Thank you for uploading File:PIC at end of Oct09.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. FASTILYsock(TALK) 01:23, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Little Pet Shop of Horrors Cover Page.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Burj Khalifa Images

[edit]

I recently noticed that you removed a ton of images from the Burj Khalifa article. What was the reason for this? I think that seriously hurt the quality of the article.Meteorico (talk) 22:01, 19 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It was discovered that the United Arab Emirates didn't have any freedom of panorama provisions in their copyright law, and as a result, pictures of the Burj Khalifa or many other buildings from the area are copyright violations. --Carnildo (talk) 22:42, 19 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Image issue

[edit]

Hi. :) Before I can help you, I need to ask you: Did you take these images yourself? Theleftorium (talk) 05:34, 19 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Honestly, no I didn't. I borrowed them from a website focused on the Church on which the article is focused. I take no credit for it whatsoever.Meteorico (talk) 05:42, 19 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well then you can't upload them here without following the instructions at Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. Theleftorium (talk) 18:28, 19 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
