A request to change signature
Merlion could you please change your signature? it hurts my eyes. Loosmark (talk) 12:22, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
- No, the signature has a meaning to me. Merlion 444 12:56, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
- So basically because it has a meaning to you, everybody's eyes have to suffer. great. Loosmark (talk) 13:03, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
- BTW, not everyone's eyes will suffer looking at my signature. Merlion 444 13:06, 30 November 2009 (UTC)

Self-awarding the Wet Trout Award
The Wet Trout Award | ||
I, Merlion444, have the honor of presenting myself the Wet Trout Award for making mistakes during NPP and vandalism-fighting. And maybe whack myself with a newspaper, roti prata or just a hand the next time I do that. |
- Roti prata? Thought you like the Chapati more? --Dave 1185 06:21, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
Autoconfirmed user?
Your user rights log does not show that any privileges had been removed. Toddst1 (talk) 15:00, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
- But I really cannot do autoconfirmed stuff. The members of groups in my preferences only show rollbackers and users, and "autoconfirmed users" are absent. Merlion 444 15:06, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
- I have no idea. Toddst1 (talk) 15:09, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
- Probably just a temporary glitch. If the glitch is permanent, it should be considered that I'd be a confirmed user via Wikipedia:Requests for permissions. Merlion 444 15:12, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
- I granted you the confirmed flag by hand. Hope this helps. ⇌ Jake Wartenberg 18:17, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks. Merlion 444 18:18, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
- The abuse filter hit an error and removed your autoconfirmed[1] for this edit. I restored autoconfirmed via Special:AbuseFilter/tools and removed the redundant userright. Cheers, NW (Talk) 19:28, 29 November 2009 (UTC)

It is impossible to say for certain, but since you are now confirmed rather than auto-confirmed you should be safe. Incidentally I use Huggle from time to time and I get beaten to reverts even when there are only 2 people Huggling - and I usually revert a good edit at some point, then have to run around reverting myself. Also I see vandalism slip by with no way to jump back to a page I clicked OK on, and stuff that I think "how on Earth can I tell if that is a correction or vandalism." Rich Farmbrough, 10:11, 30 November 2009 (UTC).
- Further to NW above, you are back at auto-confirmed. Hm, let's ask about this at the edit filter talk page. Rich Farmbrough, 10:16, 30 November 2009 (UTC).
- My apologizes Merlion444, I've disabled the filter that caused this, and I'll have a word with the person who created it to make sure it doesn't happen again. Prodego talk 22:11, 30 November 2009 (UTC)

Rock-paper-scissors
No problem. I was already halfway through reverting it when you beat me to the punch, I thought I'd finish in case you'd missed the rest of it. --McGeddon (talk) 13:46, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
Don't get offended if I say this...
I can assure you that I meant you well, please read up on point number 22 of WP:OWB. Also, 祝你虎年快乐,恭喜发财,万事如意。 --Dave ♠♣♥♦1185♪♫™ 05:37, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
- Let things run their true course, work diligently and you will be rewarded when you least expect it. At least I know I appreciate your effort in reverting vandalism, sometimes you're faster than I am and I think its a good sign you're on the right track! Don't worry, be happy, okay? Cheers and regards. (PS: There's an old Chinese phrase “一切随缘”。)--Dave ♠♣♥♦1185♪♫™ 11:45, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
