Hello MeredithIraymond, thank you for providing feedback on the Articles for Creation process. The grading scheme on Wikipedia is for the Wikipedia 1.0 team, a project to publish Wikipedia to DVD, CD, and print. Articles for Creation reviewers check to make sure that submissions meet the general style guidelines and that the submissions are written in an encyclopedic tone before accepting. The only issues left with a article that comes out of Articles for Creation is either length or the number of sources. This article is a C class mainly because it needs additional sources to be considered B class. Everything else is fine. To reach Good Article or Featured Article status the article goes through a special evaluation process. If you are interested in getting your article to Featured article status I can explain further.

The Article Wizard is designed to help new users learn how to create a article, but that is not the only way. If you are logged in, go to search, type in a article name, and press enter. It will take you to the article if one exists, but if it doesn't it takes you to search results. At the top of search results you will see a message that says "You may create the page "<title you searched for>", but consider checking the search results below to see whether it is already covered." If you click on the red link it will take you to a blank page with that title. You can then write an article. Once you hit save the article is created. The article will not have to go through any review process. I hope that answers your questions. Best wishes, Alpha Quadrant talk 06:21, 26 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
