Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Thanks much

[edit]

Reil,

Thanks very much for the kind words about my Quality improvement efforts to the article Lie-to-children, and thank you for your helpful copy edits. Most appreciated!

You seem to be previously un-involved at this article.

I've recently nominated it to be considered for WP:GA quality.

Care to look over WP:GAREVIEW and see if you could review the article?

Thank you for your time,

Cirt (talk) 18:08, 29 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Prods

[edit]

Hello. I've removed the WP:PROD template from Earth 3012 again (I'm the one who put it there in the first place). The article is almost certainly spam, but removed prod templates (unless they are for WP:BLPs with no sources at all) aren't usually supposed to be replaced. I'm not sure this qualifies for speedy deletion under WP:G11. I think so, but we'll see what an admin thinks. If not, the next step would be WP:AFD. Thanks. March 2024

[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:StoneToss, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. I'm guessing it's probably an accident, just informing you either way. Bluh, took too long writing my comment, overwrote an edit that was made in the meantime. Whoops! Rᴇɪʟ (talk) 00:32, 27 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Scott Pilgrim Takes Off anime debate revival

[edit]

There seems to have been a revival of the "Is Scott Pilgrim Takes Off an anime?" debate in the Talk page. The person arguing against it is under the assumption that SPTO not being considered an anime is consensus amongst subject matter experts and audiences. But this appears to be completely false. I can't seem to reason with this user. Turtletennisfogwheat (talk) 22:46, 13 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, but reasoning with individuals isn't necessary, fortunately, with consensus and sources established. Probably best to stop spinning wheels and wait until it starts affecting the page itself, I think! Rᴇɪʟ (talk) 23:18, 15 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough then. I'll stop discussion with that individual in particular. Turtletennisfogwheat (talk) 01:59, 16 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
