Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Information icon Hello, I'm Writ Keeper. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Writ Keeper  02:41, 25 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your service. I'm new at publishing in Wikipedia probably made a mistake, can I add a link to my site in your site Medini zouhir (talk) 07:48, 25 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, but no, it's not okay to add a link to your own website. This is discussed here, in the external link policy; it says that you should avoid linking to a site that you own, maintain, or represent—even if Wikipedia guidelines seem to imply that it may otherwise be linked. The conflict of interest in linking one's own website is just too strong. Furthermore, Wikipedia's policy on external links says that, for the most part, external links should not be used in the body of an article, as you had been. Generally speaking, links to outside Wikipedia should only be placed in their own "External links" section, at the end of the article. There are exceptions, but those are rare.
Anyway, it's no problem to make a mistake like this; it's common and easily-made. As long as you learn from it, you're welcome to keep editing Wikipedia in other ways! Thanks, Writ Keeper  15:03, 25 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Quran and miracles. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. POLITANVM talk 03:23, 30 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I am so sorry for this mistake. Medini zouhir (talk) 03:28, 30 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I understand, but please do not add external links to articles, particularly if it’s to a blog (which are not a reliable sources), and even more so if it’s your own blog. Writ Keeper has already shared this advice with you. POLITANVM talk 03:41, 30 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
