The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

December 2020

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Njd-de. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Ligel Lambert have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. NJD-DE (talk) 16:26, 31 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Njd-de. Thank you for the information. I may have completed these links incorrectly. I will look at the resources you provided and make changes if appropriate. Best Meacademicone (talk) 18:03, 31 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Meacademicone, you did format these links correctly. However, the number and type of links didn't really conform with the guideline on external links. An official website link is generally accepted, but links to Instagram/Amazon/commercial websites.. is not. NJD-DE (talk) 18:27, 31 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again Njd-de. Perhaps you may be of some help. I am looking for an appropriate photo for this artist. Can you help me find an appropriate and dignified photo of this artist that can be used for this profile? Best, Meacademicone (talk) 18:07, 31 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmh, finding appropriate images is not easy. Try to have a look in Wikimedia Commons. Sometimes you're lucky and someone had already uploaded a picture there. Otherwise can only tell you that copyright is taken very seriously here. So in case you find an image elsewhere, most times you can't use it because it's copyrighted... You can find more info on that in the image policy NJD-DE (talk) 18:31, 31 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the help. I will look at the picture to see if it can be used for this article. Thanks again. Meacademicone (talk) 18:34, 31 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Miya Masaoka, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Composing. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
