Regarding your comments about the copyright of the Wikipedia logo:
The Wikipedia project involves creating a large body of open, free content. Sometimes, helping create the largest possible amount of open, free content requires the creation of small amounts of non-free content. The Wikipedia logo is one example, where copyright and trademark protection is being used to protect the Wikipedia brand. For another example of how strategic use of non-free content can be used to help the creation of free content, you might want to take a look at the copyright of the GFDL itself. -- Karada 11:30, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
