April 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Paparazzi (Lady Gaga song) has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): [a-z][0-9]+\.photobucket\.com/albums/.*\.(?:jpg|jpeg|gif|png|svg) (links: http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p220/kelljj/paparazzi.jpg, http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p220/kelljj/paparazzi.jpg (redirect from http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p220/kelljj/paparazzi.jpg)). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 12:15, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Kell Johnson[edit]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Kell Johnson, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 12:25, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Kell Johnson[edit]

A tag has been placed on Kell Johnson requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

1. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Kell Johnson do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

Disputed fair use rationale for File:Paparazzicovergaga.png[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Paparazzicovergaga.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check:

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Fair use rationale for File:Susanboyle2009.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Susanboyle2009.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 20:43, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Pokerfaceukcover.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Pokerfaceukcover.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 22:32, 25 April 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Radiant chains (talk) 22:32, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Image tagging for File:Ladygagasunday.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Ladygagasunday.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from or who created it. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

The image you keep inserting on Lady Gaga is a copyright violation. Stop inserting it or you will be blocked. — R2 16:57, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop replacing the free image we have on Lady Gaga with a non-free image: policy states that if we have free images available, they should not be replaced with copyrighted images. Acalamari 18:30, 28 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Ladygagasundaynight.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Ladygagasundaynight.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:39, 30 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Paparazzi[edit]

You should stop adding the unsourced fancruft you are continuously adding. NExt time it will be administrative intervention. Just wait for a few days untill reliable sources report regarding the video, then you can add it. --Legolas (talk2me) 16:36, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You have previously done the same thing with Lady Gaga. Do you love getting blocked? I don't understand. Inspite of warning you are continuing the same thing. I'll raise an ANI now. --Legolas (talk2me) 16:40, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I have raised an ANI against you. Be prepared for the consequences. This is the second time you have done this. Last time everybody assumed good faith but this time I had to riase an ANI. --Legolas (talk2me) 17:00, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your editing privilieges have been suspended[edit]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for repeated abuse of editing privileges. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.

Kell, this is not a fansite or a promotional blog, and it isn't a gameboard where you get points for getting "your" article to stick - this is an encyclopedia. Your edits are inappropriate, but you likely don't know this because you don't speak to anyone or reply when people try to help you. I am afraid, then, that I have to suspend your ability to edit the Paparazzi (Lady Gaga song) page and any page other than this. Your edits, although well intentioned, are creating too much effort on the part of others to clear up. I hope you soon find another site which will appreciate your contributions.
