Disambiguation link notification for March 28
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Jay Chou, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Taiwanese (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice:
{{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Request reason:
Hi, I have just been blocked and I do not know why I have been blocked. I was accused of being a sock puppet of Wadamz?? I am sorry but I am not a sock puppet of Wadamz and I do not know what to do to be unblocked. Can someone please help me? Thank You.
Decline reason:
No, I'd say the evidence is pretty good. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 17:26, 28 March 2020 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
@NinjaRobotPirate What evidence is it though? Mcdmusicman (talk) 03:28, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
- It's difficult to contest a CheckUser block. It's based on data from the server logs. But, in this case, I think there's probably enough behavioral evidence that we don't even have to compare your IP address to Wadamz because you're editing the same topics as Wadamz. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 11:01, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
@NinjaRobotPirate What does behavioral evidence refers to? May I know what topics Wadamz is editing? Because I am not a sock puppet of Wadamz and was just updating articles on wikipedia. I really am not a sock puppet of Wadamz and have different IP from Wadamz. I really hope I can be unblocked. Although it only has been a few days, I enjoy editing and updating articles. Thank You and hope I can be unblocked. In any case, I also would hope to prove myself. Thanks. Mcdmusicman (talk) 14:37, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
Help
[edit]@Alexanderlee, @Abdotorg Hi, I have been suspected as a sock puppet of Wadamz and what should I do to prove that I am innocent? And do you guys mind to help update Kim Se-jeong’s wikipedia page as someone had reverted all the edits to an old edit which isn’t updated yet. I have been trying to make constructive edits and I really am not a sock puppet. Please help me and give me some advice on what to do and hopefully I can be unblocked. I hope you guys don’t mind updating Sejeong’s page for the readers who are reading the article to have updated information. Thank You. Mcdmusicman (talk) 08:06, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
- If there is evidence against you, I'm honestly not sure what else you can do, if anything. However, asking others to edit an article for you because you’ve been blocked is not a good idea. Alex (talk) 08:36, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
@Alexanderlee Im sorry, but could you please at least update the singles and charts? Her awards, filmography and discography dates back to only 2018. Her works in 2019 and 2020 were all gone. At least for the readers to have an updated information about her, I hope you can see it as updating the article as a fellow Wikipedian instead. Those edits were helpful and rational but were reverted to a very old version just because I was suspected of being a sock puppet. Those edits I made were reasonable and not vandalism and I do not understand why it has to be reverted just because of being a “sock puppet”. I think that those edits were not vandalism and should not be reverted. If I were a sock puppet, blocking is sufficient but there is not a need to revert an article and not update it. I believe for the good of the readers, I hope that you can close an eye and at least help to update the article, not for me but for the sake of the readers. Thank You! - You were advised above not to ask others to edit on your behalf. Request an unblock via WP:UTRS from your first account, User:Wadamz. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 22:20, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
