Hi! I wanted to post some notes to your page. I'm mainly concerned that this short story hasn't received enough in-depth coverage to really pass notability guidelines on Wikipedia. While the author is definitely notable, in order to show how an individual work of his (book, short story, etc) is notable we have to show where it's independently notable of him. This is done by way of independent, reliable coverage that focuses specifically on the short story rather than mentioning it only in passing. I've tried looking for coverage but unfortunately I can't really find much out there. It is possible that there's coverage in Arabic, however we would need someone who is fluent enough in the language to really search.

Offhand, most short stories aren't independently notable of their authors, as in most cases they're only covered in passing discussions of the author or the collection(s) in which they were published. As such, there is a strong chance that without more coverage this article will end up being redirected to the author's page or deleted. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:08, 15 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Shalor - I have made changes to the article: added links and sources. When you have time, could you check it again? Thanks so much for your help. *Yseut229* (talk) 23:58, 16 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
