License tagging for Image:Videogamemashup.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Videogamemashup.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 15:07, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of The Resistance (Half-Life 2), and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Lambda Resistance (Half-Life 2). It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that recently copied the contents of a page and pasted it into another with a different name. Specifically, you copied the contents of The Resistance (Half-Life 2) This is what we call a "cut and paste move," and it is very undesirable because it splits the article's history, which is needed for attribution and is helpful in many other ways. The mechanism we use for renaming articles is to move it to a new name which both preserves the page's history and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. In most cases, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. If there is an article that you cannot move yourself by this process, follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Requested moves to request the move by another. Also, if there are any other articles that you copied and pasted, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. — madman bum and angel 00:46, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

DTNG intertitles

[edit]

Image:Dtng intertitles.PNG -- that was quick! Nice going. Do you happen to have the new intertitles separate from that link so it can be added to the infobox in Degrassi: The Next Generation (season 8)? I'm assuming you're in Canada; I'm in America so I won't get to watch the episode for another five days. How was it? Was Part One and Part Two broadcast, as it will in the US, or is Part Two on next week? Regards, Matthewedwards (talk contribs  email) 07:45, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Roger Smith (American Dad!), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Social Security (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:43, 21 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
