Thanks for uploading File:Logo Refugee campaign.jpeg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

• make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
• Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. Thanks for your message and all the info. I know from own experience the copyright policy of UNITED that is stated on their printed material, but indeed, there is no clear explanation on their website. However, in their annual reports (for download on their website) they state: "All the materials published by UNITED are free of copyrights, although when copied the source or the information needs to be mentioned. All UNITED publications can be found and downloaded from the UNITED webpage (www.unitedagainstracism.org)." I think the "source or the information" wants to say "source of the information"...

Anyway, I will contact UNITED about that issue and see what they want to do about it. For now, I added {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion. I did the same for the other 2 campaign logos of UNITED that I uploaded (File:Logo_Antiracism_campaign.jpg and File:Logo_9November_campaign.gif). I also uploaded the organisation's logo itself - File:UNITED_logo.tiff - and identified it as {PD-textlogo}. Could you have a quick look at this logo and tell me if "text logo" was the right decision? Cheers Max Mustermann (talk) 13:05, 18 May 2011 (UTC)

If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
