Proposed deletion of What I Can't Put Down

[edit]

The article What I Can't Put Down has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No references, no claim of notability, fails WP:GNG and WP:NSONGS which also reads Notability aside, a standalone article is only appropriate when there is enough material to warrant a reasonably detailed article; articles unlikely ever to grow beyond stubs should be merged to articles about an artist or album.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Brushville requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organised event, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Southern Style (Darius Rucker album) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Deletion discussion about Start Here (Maddie & Tae album)

[edit]

Hello, Mavsfan123,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Start Here (Maddie & Tae album) should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Start Here (Maddie & Tae album) .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Start Here (Maddie & Tae album), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dot. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Your articles are fine, better than many stubs on Wikipedia right from the start. They are also better than many nonstubs because you write in Standard English and define your topic immediately.

If you add categories, this will help others to find the articles sooner and help with the writing. You could also help by editing (for grammar, Standard English, punctuation) many articles in your topic area. Keep contributing! 97.124.187.191 (talk) 23:56, 28 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with the IP editor. Your articles are indeed fine and much better written than many stubs or articles I have seen on wiki. Infact you do a better job than User talk:TenPoundHammer in my opinion. Keep up the good work and stick around. Caden cool 18:38, 29 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A quick note from somebody that doesn't care a whoop about country music

[edit]

TenPoundHammer comes on a bit strong and is an acquired taste, sort of like black licorice. But he is actually a really good dude with the best interests of Wikipedia at heart. In glancing through some of your recent work, I see some excellent work on behalf of Wikipedia by you as well. Try to communicate with him a little bit, there is absolutely no reason that you two shouldn't be working together collaboratively (or at least working in the same field in parallel, non-confrontationally). Keep up the good work, both of you! —Tim Davenport, Corvallis, OR // Carrite (talk) 13:28, 22 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Cold Beer Conversation

[edit]

I apologize for coming on a bit harsh. Cold Beer Conversation was definitely jumping the gun. If you're going to make an article, please include sources verifying the content; please put more than the absolute bare minimum (i.e., confirmed tracks, information on the process of making the album, such as this); and please include categories. If you don't know how to do any of this, ask me or another editor for help. Your edits are in good faith, but you're putting way, way, way too little content in, and you're not interacting with other editors who have to clean up your messes.
