AfC Christmas Village
Also can you take a quick look at this: Wikipedia:Articles for creation/Christmas Village, Philadelphia. Thanks. mauchoeagle 18:09, 25 April 2011 (UTC) Haha! So, you've found a new guinea pig, yes? (Meaning me, of course ...). Yes, I'll take a look. Pesky (talk) 18:59, 25 April 2011 (UTC)

RE: American's Top Model
Hi,
No problem at all! I saw the level of vandalism, much better to semi it so that the editors can get on with improving the article, rather than maintaining it! :)

Shirayamadani
I am new to Wikipedia, so I apologize for being slow with things.
I have written a 746 page doctoral dissertation on Kitaro Shirayamadan and have spent 11 years researching his art and life. I was trying to figure out how to cite my research when you started erasing my edits. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rizusensei (talk • contribs) 00:14, 26 April 2011 (UTC)

File copyright problem and close wording
Hi, I've tagged File:Lake Garfield.gif for speedy deletion under criterion F9. The copyright clearly does not belong to you. Also, Lake Garfield (the article) resembles [1] a lot. Perhaps a bit too much? Guoguo12--Talk-- 19:35, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
- Hey, thanks for your speedy actions at File:Lake Garfield.gif. However, "non-free content is used only where no free equivalent is available". I don't think using the file is within policy still. Guoguo12--Talk-- 19:41, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
- I have corrected the image problems and will correct the issues with the article right now. mauchoeagle (c) 19:49, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
- Like a said before, the map screenshot is still not within policy because "non-free content is used only where no free equivalent is available". Here, it seems one could create a map by themselves or else take an aerial photo. Then there's Wikipedia:NFC#UUI, criterion four, which states that "a map, scanned or traced from an atlas, to illustrate the region depicted" is unacceptable use. The number of policies is staggering indeed, but Wikipedia needs them to remain a "Free Encyclopedia". Guoguo12--Talk-- 19:57, 27 April 2011 (UTC)

Cloak
I have just applied for a Wikimedia cloak. mauchoeagle (c) 01:58, 30 April 2011 (UTC) I would like to have a cloak to protect my identity on IRC due to the range of personalities that are on the IRC channels. Please do give me this cloak. mauchoeagle (c) 02:02, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
- Hello MauchoEagle. You recently applied for a Wikimedia cloak. Unfortunately, you do not meet the requirements. To be eligible for a Wikimedia IRC cloak, you need to have been registered for at least 3 months and also have at least 250 edits. Feel free to reapply after July 5, 2011. (Please remember to send a confirmation memo next time though! /msg MemoServ send wmfgc IRC cloak request) If you would like a generic unaffiliated cloak in the meantime, feel free to ask the freenode network staff for one in #freenode. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me on my Meta-Wiki user talk page. Thanks, Cbrown1023 talk 00:27, 1 May 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Scotland High
Hello MauchoEagle. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Scotland High, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: A7 does not apply to schools. Thank you. nancy 09:16, 1 May 2011 (UTC)

Hi
I'm not exactly new to Wikipedia, I had an account that is probably 6-7 years old (thezob) which was banned because somebody went and said something stupid using it. (Could you unblock it? If not it's fine). But, you deleted the "dam u str8 babygurl" page for (A7: No explanation of the subject's significance (real person, animal, organization, or web content)) but it is web content and I was going to add on to it with the website, etc. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Zobian1 (talk • contribs) 18:23, 3 May 2011 (UTC)
Felipe someone
Good idea to make sure it IS on another Wikipedia first - it wasn't. I looked at it, didn't like it and retagged it for translation, and checked on the machine translation. Vanity page... I deleted it under a7. People seem to put articles up here in Foreign (one dialect or another) before their own places. Might be a compliment to us... Peridon (talk) 20:36, 3 May 2011 (UTC)
The article has been created at 21:40 and at 21:41 you PROD for deletion because it hasn't got a source!!!! You're a little trigger happy aren't you. Go read WP:CRIN, WP:ATH and maybe the "started" statement in the edit summary could give a couple of clues as well, that the article has been started and not completed. Maybe Paul Roshier and Simon Shearman (both articles I created) could give further to clues to what the article will look like. AssociateAffiliate (talk) 21:49, 3 May 2011 (UTC)

Glossary of card games
Hi, thanks for working on Glossary of card games. Unfortunately I made a mistake with that: I meant to create this in user space and take my time completing it before moving it to main space, as I usually do. Now that I have become aware of the mistake I moved it to my user space at User:Hans Adler/Glossary of card games and proposed the resulting redirect for deletion. I hope that's OK with you. Speedy deletion contested: AK Slavonija-Žito
Hello MauchoEagle, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I contested the speedy deletion of AK Slavonija-Žito, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The article is in English, or does not exist at a foreign project. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. Logan Talk Contributions 01:15, 13 May 2011 (UTC)

RfA comments
Hi MauchoEagle. Regarding your "I have some concerns ... that 55% of your edits are automated" comment: I don't know if you followed Armbrust's recent RfA very closely, but the use of meaningless statistics (and that statistic in particular) to criticize a candidate is something I, and apparently more than a few other RfA voters, find extremely annoying. Just giving you a heads-up. 28bytes (talk) 01:38, 14 May 2011 (UTC)

Altered speedy deletion rationale: First Agro
Hello MauchoEagle. I am just letting you know that I deleted First Agro, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, under a different criterion from the one you provided, which doesn't fit the page in question. Thank you. Salvio Let's talk about it! 14:20, 14 May 2011 (UTC)
Sorry, but I've declined your A1 because there was enough context. As there's nothing much left (except spam, which it passed too), I've prodded it. CSD tags are rather precise in some ways. If you can work out it's a film without raising one drop of sweat, A1 is out. (And as it's a film, A7 is out too.) Prod or AfD are the only choices, and prod comes first. When that's removed, AfD it if I'm not around or don't notice. Peridon (talk) 22:55, 15 May 2011 (UTC)

DYK Nomination for Cartonema
Thanks for the kind offer! How about ..."that the dayflower genus Cartonema is completely restricted to Australia except for one species that occurs on Trangan Island in Indonesia?" or ..."that the genus Cartonema was formerly thought to be the only genus in its own family called Cartonemataceae, but is now known to be the earliest diverging clade in the dayflower family"? - I was on Igloo and then you reverted the edit, and then I reverted your edit and then I warned you which was suppose to be a warning for the user you reverted. Isn't this a mess. mauchoeagle (c) 00:11, 19 May 2011 (UTC)

Help
The User:Conte di Cavour did not accept my contributions on the article "Italy", all made with appropriate sources and inserts on the Talk Page of the article ([Talk:Italy]). I promoted talks and deleted redundancies and parts that does not respect the Neutral POV on the article. I always insert sources and discuss on "Talk:Italy" The user labeled my edits as vandalism on the link of editions from the article "Italy".
Later, on his talk page (User_talk:Conte_di_Cavour), he seems to have lost the temper, and attack me with offenses several times.
The help that i need from you is to delete the sayings "suspected vandalism by GustoBLSJP" on the "Revision history of Italy" (the list with the edits on the article "Italy"). I also wants that the conversation between me and "Conte di Cavour" be deleted on User_talk:Conte_di_Cavour.
"06:47, 14 May 2011 Conte di Cavour (talk | contribs) (152,597 bytes) (suspected vandalism by GustoBLSJP)" to be changed for
"06:47, 14 May 2011 Conte di Cavour (talk | contribs) (152,597 bytes)"
The User:Conte di Cavour doesn't need to be penalized.
First diff: [2] diff: [3] diff: [4] diff: [5]
All i ask is the deletion of the saying (supress of edit summary). I don't want this problem to go on. If you see the "Revision history of Italy" ([6]) and on Talk:Italy there's not a proof of vandalism.
