layout tweaking

[edit]

Thanks for your work on the article Pacific City, Oregon. I removed the thumb size preferences you tweaked several times; see the image introduction for a full explanation. Keep in mind that Wikipedia pages are displayed on a huge variety of browsers and equipment, from BlackBerrys to 48 inch high resolution displays. Users can choose a thumb size in their preferences; they can also choose a variety of skins which affect typeface and size, wrapping and justification, and basically enough options to so that there is a practically unlimited number of combinations. The Manual of Style is designed to deal with this variability, so don't spend much effort optimizing it for any particular display. —EncMstr (talk) 01:37, 30 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

commons

[edit]

I notice you are uploading a number of useful photos. Consider uploading them directly to Wikimedia commons (http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Upload) so they can be used by all the wikiprojects, including Wikipedia in every language. Feel free to ask if you need help figuring it all out. —EncMstr (talk) 01:41, 30 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
