Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Genre, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot.

  • Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • Cluebot produces very few false positives, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been detected as unconstructive, please report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Genre was changed by Mattymunson (u) (t) deleting 58153 characters on 2010-04-25T21:32:34+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot (talk) 21:32, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to the page Genre. Such edits constitute vandalism and are reverted. Please do not continue to make unconstructive edits to pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thank you. Tiderolls 22:01, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Page blanking is not the way to improve Wikipedia articles. Start discussing on the talk page, or try working on something in your sandbox. I can guarantee you that most WP editors will revert your edits immediately, and with good reason. Thank you, Drmies (talk) 22:09, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
    • BTW, I saw the discussion you initiated on the talk page--but you were talking about adding citations, not about blanking out large chunks of context. Once an article is written, the work usually consists of rewriting, not removing: yes, the article may be a mess, but that doesn't mean that all individual parts and sections are disposable. Good luck, Drmies (talk) 22:11, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Genre, you will be blocked from editing.

Wikipedia policies

[edit]

Hi, Matty. I'm sure I speak for many other editors when I say how welcome an overhaul to Genre is. I've made some notes on that article's talk page and in some of my edit summaries regarding Wikipedia manual of style and some important policies, bluelinked on the talk page. I hope you have a chance to go over them. Continued best wishes. -- Tenebrae (talk) 23:14, 27 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
