Hi there. A group of new editors and a IP editor seem to be bend on using wikipedia as a promotional platform to advertise their company. They have twice removed the CSD-tag which was placed on that article. To avoid edit warring, your admin intervention is required. Thank you. Amsaim (talk) 09:01, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
Note for myself
[edit]http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:PD-flag_tag_needs_updating
I have no idea how this page works, but I want to talk to someone about a note Wikipedia left for me claiming I had tried to edit the biography of someone named Childers.
I never edited the page for anyone by than name.
I did edit the biography of Vern Clark, former Chief of Naval Operations. This is the same guy who was appointed by President Obama to head up the investigation at Fort Hood.
I also updated the page of Evangel College, since Evangel College is where Vern Clark went to college.
Both of my edits were removed, then others updated one page or the other to say that he gradated from that school. However the note the Wikipedia sent to me was about someone I had never heard of. Therefore something is messed up in your tracking system of who does what. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pastorart1974 (talk • contribs) 19:07, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
OK, I just found in a history page, my history of my updates, my edits. I saw that I did update that one page and I do remember doing it now. The source of my ojective published information was a quote from a PBS Televsion Program. Are quotes from TV programs not acceptable as published information? I would think that a statement made on TV was the same as being published. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pastorart1974 (talk • contribs) 19:23, 14 January 2010 (UTC)

[edit]SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.

Hey! I saw you had done some work on the list of nobel laureates. I am currently working on the Nobel Prize article. Since it is a top importance article and not even GA class I am trying to make it a GA article and perhaps further after that. However, I'm in a state now where I could use some help. I need a new pair (several pairs in fact) of eyes to look at the article and the talk page for improving prose, debation of different things and some sourcing. Do you got any possibility to help out?
Cheers --Esuzu 16:41, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
IRC Chat Help & Article Writing Wizard
[edit]Sorry to bother you with two different questions but as a relative novice I don't know how else to ask.
First, in attempting to use IRC Chat help, I logged in and someone responded, expecting a response but my keystrokes did not register anywhere on the page, although I tried about every place I could think of.
Second--what I was seeking help about--was that I started my first article from scratch using the Wizard but cannot find where it is stored so I can work on it further.
Any help you can provide on either of these problems will be appreciated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Eradc8Hngr (talk • contribs) 01:17, 21 January 2010 (UTC)
