new user not given time to amend draft
Decline reason:
Duplicate request placed in a section header. The unblock request template should only be used in the larger edit window, not the smaller section header/edit summary window. You can avoid creating section headers entirely by clicking "edit" instead of "new section" at the top of this page. 331dot (talk) 08:42, 16 October 2023 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:
New user not given time to amend draft. My draft page was deleted and user account blocked with no real opportunity to amend based on feedback. The page I was creating is for a not for profit, that does not advertise or sell any products, it exists to help veterans participate in sport both at the Invictus level and at local levels. Invictus UK has pages which we tried to follow a similar structure for. I have had many clients over the years ask for Wiki pages which I have refused to create, this Not for Profit is the first I felt appropriate. I feel I have been unfairly blocked, I would have also like the opportunity to correct any mistakes I may have made in creating the draft. Could admin please review and advise? There is nothing unfair about this block, it is clearly justified. You don't have to be selling something to be promoting it. On Wikipedia, the definition of "promotion" is broader than what is commonly understood, especially by those in marketing or consulting. Wikipedia treats non profits no differently than for profits. Wikipedia is not a place to merely tell about something, even if it does good work. That's considered promotional, especially if you are associated with it. Please read conflict of interest and paid editing. A Wikipedia article about an organization must summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about (in this case) an organization, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable organization. Wikipedia is not interested in what an organization wants to say about itself, only in what others completely unconnected with the organization choose on their own to say about it. It's usually a poor idea to use other articles a model or example, as those too could be inappropriate and you would be unaware of this. See other stuff exists. If you want to use other articles as a model, use those classified as good articles. You won't be unblocked to, in the short term, edit about your organization or anything for which you have a conflict of interest. If that is your only goal here, this is the end of the line. If you want to be a more general contributor and edit about other topics, please tell what those might be. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 08:42, 16 October 2023 (UTC)
