  • Although the lead is a handy rereview of microaggressions, it would be good to cut straight to microaggression in classroom, since that is what the article is about, rather than a definition of microaggression, which can simply be linked. Might just be worth adding this section to the microaggression page.
Appropriate structure
  • The microaggression page has very little on it, and could benefit from your section being added to it, rather than creating your own page
  • Make "Microaggression" spelling consistent (currently spelled different ways in some spots, ie: micro aggression v microaggression)
  • Characteristics of microaggressions should be given its own heading, and the "consequences" point is better under impacts not characteristics
  • It would be nice if the subsections under the heading "Microaggressions in the Classroom" could be indented or better distinguished
  • Eventually, there should be a linked wikipedia page on Difficult Dialogues, since it is a pretty specific/academic term
  • "Course Content" and "Classroom Climate" should be different subsections
  • Clean up the "indented line" text between quotes, and get the quotes to align with their relative bulletpoint
  • Put bulletpoints without supporting quotes last (it's easier to read that way)
  • Conceptually, what is it that distinguishes the quotes, the "other approaches" and the Fordham/Colorado facilitator suggestions? It's not clear.

  • Intro should be more about classroom microaggressions, less about microaggressions, which already has a page that you can link (or add your page to it).
  • Characteristics seems as though it should have its own section, rather than to fall under the intro
Impacts of Microaggressions
  • Does the research say that the consequences are "including but not limited to" or do you? If it's you, consider deleting that passage
Micro Aggression in the Classroom
  • Title should be spelled consistent w/ remainder of the article (ie: Microaggression)
  • This section should be your article's introduction, with its italicized subsections made into subheadings
  • "Student silence doesn't always mean an acceptance or aggressment with the statement, and can be a sign of feelings of oppression, both real and perceived"
