April 2007
[edit]Hello! Please do not change the genres of albums, songs, or bands until a consensus has been made on the talk page, as you did to Dookie, American Idiot (album), Kerplunk!, Warning:, and many many more[1][2][3][4][5][6]. It is considered vandalism. Please consider this a first warning. Thank you for understanding!--JUDE talk 17:58, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
Notability of Direction(The starting line album)
[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Direction(The starting line album), by Chochopk, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Direction(The starting line album) seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Direction(The starting line album), please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Direction(The starting line album) itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 08:19, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
Genres and formatting
[edit]Hi there. Regarding changes like this, please note that WP:ALBUM#Details says to use commas to delimit genres. Further note that according to WP:MUSTARD#Capitalization most genres should not be capitalized. Have a nice day. --PEJL 16:43, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

100 Million
[edit]A {{prod}} template has been added to the article 100 Million, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}

A tag has been placed on Adam Agee, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD a7.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Phgao 12:01, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

Punctuation
[edit]Hi there, please remember to use proper punctuation. Band names, proper nouns etc are capitalised. Also, don't be afraid to wiki link to existing articles. On another note, please only include content that is encyclopedic. Sentences such as "adam mentions that he owns a dog and talks about it", and "he often has a spiky hair style and it seen in different videos by the group and in many photos." are not encyclopedic and will be deleted. Cheers and happy editing. Nouse4aname 14:09, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

You're Only Young Once
[edit]I see you have created the page You're Only Young Once. If you do not know how to capitalize titles, then do not create pages on Wikipedia. You're only young once is not correct and it is basic second grade grammar to capitalize ALL the major words in a title. Wikipedia looks for people who know at least basic English grammar and spelling. If you do not, please don't create any more pages. Thank you. Tim Y (talk) 13:47, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
- Again, you created the article "This is who we are", with completely incorrect capitalisation. The correct capitalisation relates to a completely different article. Your punctuation in the article body itself is also appalling. I have told you about this before, and you seem to be ignoring any request to improve your articles. In future, use the "show preview" button first, then identify what needs to be ammended. Cheers Nouse4aname 07:30, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
Speedy Deletion Tags
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself. If you do not believe the article should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. shoy 16:13, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from articles you have created yourself, as you did with Breathe you in. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. shoy 16:46, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Breathe you in. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. shoy 16:50, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.

Capitalisation. Again.
[edit]I am getting tired of having to revert so many of you edits that introduce incorrectly capitalised words into articles. Once or twice is fine, but your continued inability to use correct English is getting disruptive. If you do not know how to contribute properly, perhaps you should brush up on some basic English before doing so again. Use the Show Preview button to see the effect your changes will have. Nouse4aname 10:29, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
- Are you ignoring my advice on purpose? What is wrong with you? Learn some basic English. Don't edit again until you do. It is "Your Guardian Angel" NOT "Your guardian Angel". Get it right. Nouse4aname 08:24, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
Citation Requests
[edit]Please do not remove citation requests, which look like this - [citation needed], from articles. Your recent edit to Ohio Is for Lovers has been identified as vandalism and has been reverted. Tim Y (talk) 21:01, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
- Matt 14: You seem to have a real problem with listening to people when they are trying to help you, I am not sure why this is. When someone tags an article with {{cn}} or another citation needed tag, they are not there for decoration. They are there because a source is needed to back up the claims. You often remove such tags from explanations of lyrics. Now as lyrics are entirely open to interpretation, you need to provide the source where the lyricist or at least the band explain what the lyrics mean. If you cannot do this, then we cannot be sure that is what the lyrics mean. Do not remove citation requests in future. Nouse4aname 08:52, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
Please don't add a genre designation to the first line of the text. This has become a battleground for genre warriors, and I'd like to avoid that by shunting all the genres into the infobox and citing the daylights out of them. Hopefully I can keep that a consensus until the article's popularity dies down. Chubbles 17:05, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
Panic! at the Disco
[edit]You have removed sourced genres from Panic! at the Disco twice after being told it was wrong. You cannot just delete valid sourced information and put up what you think is right. The genres listed in the article have been agreed on after a long discussion. Please do not change them or I will have to start giving you vandalism warnings. [edit]You have added the "genre" Christian" to a number of articles recently. As you should be aware, Christian is not a musical genre; Christian rock, Christian metal etc etc however are. Please stop changing genres. Thank you Nouse4aname 08:55, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
Panic! at the Disco Genre
[edit]Please stop changing the Panic! at the Disco genre to rock from alternative rock. This genre has been agreed upon after much discussion on the talk page. If you change it again, I will have to start giving you block warnings. ╦ﺇ₥₥€Ԋ (talk) 19:06, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

Genre Changes
[edit]Please stop changing the genres on every article you edit. You are not the authority on genres, and just because you are of the opinion the genre is wrong, does not allow you to change them. For the most part, genres are a rather contentious issue, and have usually been decided on by consensus. Your edits undermine this consensus and completely spoil the experience of wikipedia for everyone. If you want to change the genres, do so by first suggesting the change on the talk page (after checking any archive discussions first, to ensure the same discussion has not already occurred). Only after it has been discussed can the genre then be changed. Obvious vandalism is obviously the exception here. In addition, for album infoboxes, guidlines suggest that genres are separated by commas, and not line breaks. Please try to remember this to ensure consistency throughout wikipedia. Cheers. Nouse4aname (talk) 10:03, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
capitals please
[edit]Look, I have asked politely many times before. Please ensure that your contributions use correct English spelling and punctuation. If you cannot do this, then you really shouldn't be contributing until you learn it. You have created the categories Stellar kart songs and Stellar kart albums; Stellar Kart is the name of a band, and thus is capitalised. Please remember this. Someone has to go around after you cleaning up your edits. WP:MOS. Nouse4aname (talk) 09:14, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
Catergories
[edit]I have seen that you are adding the Category 2000s singles/ 2000s songs/ 2000s albums etc to many articles. Please don't. The articles only belong to the category of the specific year they were released. The category 2000s singles for example should only include the sub categories 2001 singles, 2002 singles...2008 singles ( up to 2009 singles in the future). Each of these sub categories then contains the relevant songs. Cheers Nouse4aname (talk) 09:40, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
- How many times must you be told. Do not add the following categories to articles:
- 2000s singles
- 2000s albums
- 2000s songs
- 1990s singles
- 1990s songs
- 1990s albums
These are simply used to collect the actual categories of, for example, 2001 singles, 2002 singles, 2003 singles etc
Please stop adding these categories to articles. I have asked politely, and in future you will be receiving warnings each time you ignore advice. If you continue editing in this way, you will soon be blocked. Please stop spoiling the experience for everyone else. Nouse4aname (talk) 13:34, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
- See here for an explanation. As all these articles already have the categroy for the specific year, for example 2001 albums, they do not also need to be included in the category 2000s albums. I hope that explains it. Nouse4aname (talk) 13:39, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
In addition... the categories American musical groups and musical groups are also redundant. These are simply parent categories that house the sub categories, for example, american punk bands etc. The categories should be as specific as possible. Not broad such as these. Please only stick to the specific categories. Over the coming weeks I plan to overhaul these categories, so don't be surprised to see them dissappear from the pages. Don't be tempted to add them back. Nouse4aname (talk) 13:48, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability).
