Re: Noli Santos picture

Good Day! I would like to request for the upload of Mr. Noli Santos picture in Emmanuel T. Santos article. It would be a great honor and respect for the founder of our school [1] to have his own picture together with his article. I would just be so happy seeing Mr. Emmanuel Santos smile again seeing his own image placed together with his article. Thanks and God Bless!

Hi. Did you read the comments on your request here? To be able to upload images to Wikipedia they generally need to have been released under Public Domain, CC-BY or CC-BY-SA and the website the image is on needs to say that the image is released under that license. Photo Spot

I've been trying to upload the screenshots and icons for the an iPhone game article that I've written. The game is called Photo Spot and I see that you've declined my request in the upload page with no reason given. How can I get them approved? Kenneth087 (talk) 17:31, 12 March 2009 (UTC)

Hi. The reason was 'no response', as in you hadn't responded to the comment Andrew c left you :P. Sorry, I didn't read Andrew's comment very well, otherwise I would've left you a better reason: because your account's older than 4 days and has more than 10 edits you can upload images yourself. We generally only upload images at WP:IFU for accounts/IPs that can't upload by themselves. Click here, then follow the instructions to upload the image. Regards, Matt (Talk) 09:43, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

Ohh thanks for guiding me through! Its my first article on Wikipedia so I'm still a lil confused on what and how I can do stuff around here. Cheers! Kenneth087 (talk) 22:22, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

Awesome, no problem. If you need anything else feel free to drop me a message. Matt (Talk) 03:38, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

Re WP:IFU request

Matt, My most humble apologies, my pc went down just about the time you sent the first reply, about sending the text, and I have only just got it nearly back to where it was. My ERD came in handing, but I've had to reinstall everything. still nearly there now. How do i go forward from here with regards to getting my picture uploaded/ do I still just send you the text that you requested nearly a month ago now or what? regards Tim —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lord belborough (talkcontribs) 20:53, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

Thanks Matt, I added that link because I saw he was listed as headmaster in the page of the school but there was no link between these pages or reference to that in his page. I didn't add the link because when I check the one provided in the school page I saw it was broken anyway :-( thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ChrCc (talkcontribs) 10:06, 22 October 2015 (UTC)

Hmm, maybe there's another source out there? Matt (Talk) 10:09, 22 October 2015 (UTC)
You don't need another source because the original source at http://www.dcsf.gov.uk/stem/biog.shtml was archived by the Internet Archive at http://web.archive.org/web/20090415052621/http://www.dcsf.gov.uk/stem/biog.shtml. I've added the |archiveurl= and |archivedate= parameters to the reference at Watford Grammar School for Boys and restored Chiara's edit to John Holman (chemist) along with the reference.
