Welcome

[edit]

Hello Matheron00 and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your contributions, such as the ones to the page John Wick, do not conform to our policies. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a new contributors' help page, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 07:46, 8 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at The Day the Earth Stood Still (2008 film). Your edits continue to appear to constitute vandalism and have been automatically reverted.

  • If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • ClueBot NG makes very few mistakes, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been considered as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • If you need help, please see our help pages, and if you can't find what you are looking for there, please feel free to place {{Help me}} on your talk page and someone will drop by to help.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: The Day the Earth Stood Still (2008 film) was changed by Matheron00 (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.875277 on 2016-02-08T17:31:31+00:00 .

Information icon Hello, I'm Callmemirela. I noticed that you made a change to an article, TSG Entertainment, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Snowpiercer, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. - theWOLFchild 06:34, 27 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! - theWOLFchild 06:46, 27 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Lance And His Friends requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. —C.Fred (talk) 18:43, 27 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop condensing infoboxes

[edit]

Hi there, please stop condensing infoboxes as you've done across multiple articles including here, here, here and here. Infobox templates across the board are written out in the longer format with parameters lined up neatly line by line. It would be appreciated if you'd please restore the longer versions of your own initiative. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 23:36, 27 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Since you haven't done this to too many articles, I've restored the standard versions. It would be appreciated, however, if you'd please avoid needlessly changing this formatting in the future. Here are some random examples pulled from our Featured Article selections: Firefly (TV series), Making Waves (TV series), Thunderbirds (TV series), but pretty much every other article from Aaahh!!! Real Monsters to Zorro is formatted this way. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk)

A tag has been placed on Timeslaughter requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from www.pcgamescompendium.com/game/4042/timeslaughter/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul (film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jeff Kinney. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Emojimovie: Express Yourself, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Keep Watching. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. SummerPhDv2.0 15:30, 20 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
