Why are you adding {{User:mastejma}} to article talk pages? --Dennis Bratland (talk) 03:50, 9 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Peer Review

I enjoyed reading your additions to the article. I had to read your additions in the discussion page on d2l due to your fabulous execution of adding seamlessly. I enjoyed your additions to the history of organ-donation. I think that you did a very good job at staying neutral and expressing different viewpoints. I think that there is room for expanding under the EUROPE banner. There are about 50 countries in the continent and I find it difficult to believe that they all share views, procedures, and consent processes. There are a few things that I did notice while reading through it.MirrorLake23023 (talk)

The statement “the first successful kidney transplant on December 23, 1954 at the Brigham Hospital in Boston between two living-patients.” needs citation. This statement is far too specific to be considered common knowledge.MirrorLake23023 (talk)

I was originally confused by the term “opt-out registered donators” and had made comment within this review as to the lack of clarification, however you beat me to it. Well done on clarification in a clear and precise manner without sounding like a dictionary.MirrorLake23023 (talk)

Who or what entity is given authority to donate organ in Scotland? The lead statements were unclear and grammatically confusing.MirrorLake23023 (talk)

You reference many policies throughout your article, are there wikipages that delve deeper into them? Linking the names in your article to their specific pages may help to strengthen your article.MirrorLake23023 (talk)

“Consent of refusal from a spouse, family member, or relative is necessary for a subject is incapable.” This is a very confusingly worded sentence, and I’m not sure what was trying to be said.MirrorLake23023 (talk)

Great job with your article thus far! I'm sorry I am so late in contributing feedback for what you have done for your topic. First off, I love your topic, and I thought I knew so much about it, but I learned a ton! Your new lead section does a wonderful job of introducing the topic and really does a great job of incorporating some of the information that was already there while correcting some very apparent issues. Your body information was also very informative and your style of writing does a wonderful job of staying neutral. Some topics are neutral by nature, but with your topic I can see where it may be difficult to evenly represent both sides of donation and not give a sense of your own opinion. As I stated, you really did a great job with this. I see just a few grammatical errors present in your lead section. If you reread the section I am certain you will see them, so I don't see the need to quote. Also, I was a little confused about the "opt-in" vs "opt-out" when it was introduced in the lead section. I recommend clarifying what these mean very briefly in the introduction if you plan to keep it there. Overall, wonderful job and I look forward to seeing the finished product!
