Hi All - You might find this piece on Coyote from the journal, Canadian Literature, useful: http://canlit.ca/article/a-portable-frontier-two-gender-divergent-navigations-of-western-canada/. Astu260instructor 2016 (talk) 21:06, 8 March 2017 (UTC) ASTU 260instructor_2016 (Kathryn)
- Hi Team Coyote, I thought I'd drop by to see how the article is going. I like the additions that you've planned here - I think it will make it a much stronger article. You'll want to make sure you add your reference as citations - this is usually pretty straight forward but can take some time (there a bit of info on how to do so here). Also, when you add your additions to the main article, make sure you do so in small chunks and add edit summaries. This will make it easier for other editors to see how you are improving the article. I'm really looking forward to seeing your expansions. Cheers - Will (talk) 20:41, 17 March 2017 (UTC)
Hi All - I'm checking in, too. Two suggestions (both of which you may already be planning to do): the first is to look at reviews of Coyote's texts: on the library website, when I search their name I see there are about 24 of them, plus an interview with Spoon on performing Gender Failure. The second suggestion is that given Coyote has been recorded quite a bit, it might be particularly useful to cite content from and include more links to videos: when I go to YouTube and search their name, there is an interview with the Georgia Straight, a talk at SpeakUp! from 2010, plus a live performance in 2011 at CBC's DNTO (Definitely Not the Opera). There is also a video performance of Gender Failure here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-n08vFSKIts. Best, Kathryn --Astu260instructor 2016. (talk) 22:03, 17 March 2017 (UTC)
