Filming Help

[edit]

My question: Hi there, I am currently making an online film with a few other Youtuber's that will be viewed by millions of people on Youtube, one of the scenes consists of an actor on a laptop, on wikipedia looking up a character on Wikipedia, (not a real person), is there a way I can make a wikipedia page for this person, without getting it deleted for not being a real person, for the filming scene (I will delete it after filming, around 24-48 hours). Please can somebody help me/ answer my question :)

Thank-You (Maskedfx (talk) 18:51, 4 March 2012 (UTC))[reply]

In a word, no. Either your character meets the notability criteria and can stay, or he doesn't. Since you can't establish notability before the film is made, that's tricky Jimfbleak - talk to me? 06:32, 5 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks!

[edit]

Thank-you for your help, my team have settled to add the scene by editing it on photo editing software, thanks for your quick answer :) - Just another question to see if I can make this simple, can I use the sandbox or the "show preview" instead, and does this look like an actual page? thanks (Maskedfx (talk) 19:33, 5 March 2012 (UTC))[reply]

The top would look just like a regular page except the edit box, hidden categories, and interlanguage links would come before the category display, which is always at the bottom. Dru of Id (talk) 22:31, 9 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
