Speedy deletion nomination of Jesus Felipe

[edit]

Hello Mary Ann Magadia,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Jesus Felipe for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Imahesh3847 (talk) 09:13, 5 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Waiting forever for response from DDG

[edit]

While you were at IRC, we didn't notice that there is no active user named DDG. If there is an account by that name, they have never edited anything on the English Wikipedia. I guess that explains why you were not getting a response.

You'll need to follow the instructions given above to get your draft re-instated if you wish to continue to work on it. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 07:10, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

the reason you have been waiting is that my name is DGG, and Itherefore didn;t see the notice. I'll now take a look at your draft. DGG ( talk ) 01:14, 7 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The key problem is that it reads as essentially a promotion for his book. I am not sure whether or not he is notable--the criteria are WP:PROF and WP:AUTHOR. For both ,we normally expect two major books , not just one. I notice the book is hel din only about 100 libraries, so the statement of how authoritative it is is not all that convincing--thecomments by economists arecited from promotional material for the book--they need to be found in formal published reviews in major economics journals. If you try again, remove expressions of praise or importance. DGG ( talk ) 01:25, 8 September 2017 (UTC) .[reply]
