Thanks for contributing new article Allan Churchill Butler. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable, by being clearly attributed to reliable sources. Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Allan Churchill Butler, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you.Pdcook (talk) 23:00, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings, Martinsmeaton. This message is the result of my typing and not a template! You seem to be having some trouble editing the Allan Churchill Butler article. Please do not remove the templates I added to this article until you have resolved the issues. Currently the article has no references and the article overall may not meet the notability guidelines for inclusion in Wikipedia. Please review Wikipedia:notability (people) and Wikipedia:reliable sources for more information. It is very possible the article is in fact notable, but references are needed to verify this. You might also want to check out the Sandbox to make any test edits so you don't clutter up the revision history of actual articles. If you have any questions, please leave a message on my talk page. Regards, Pdcook (talk) 23:10, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Before you worry about the picture (you have a few days until it will be deleted), it would be wise to review Wikipedia:notability (people) and ask yourself if Allan Churchill Butler meets the criteria for inclusion. I'm having trouble finding his name in published reliable sources on the internet. If so, which criteria do you think he meets? Perhaps once you've identified what makes him notable we can find reference(s) that verifies this. Then we can worry about the image. Regards, Pdcook (talk) 19:24, 18 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Have you determined what makes this person notable? I'm concerned he fails Wikipedia:notability (people). Thanks, Pdcook (talk) 14:09, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
