[edit]

Martin is a 36 year old Swindonian standing for election in the constituency of Swindon South where he was born and raised. Being the only Brexit candidate in the constituency and a proud European he is keen to hold the Government's [1]'feet to the fire' as part of a handful of UKIP MP's in the commons. He feels that failure to do so will allow the Government to push their own interests and will set the county back another five years. Regarded as the town's 'disciple of Farage' he aims to be the 'Fox in the hen-house' and ensure that the government are held to account for the decisions they make by being the voice of the 'ordinary people'.

He is a firm believer of equality for all regardless of faith, culture and background. Martin is keen to see greater integration in our diverse society.

His policies include:[edit] Putting Swindon first[2]; Capping future Council Tax rises after seeing the greastest increase in the country; Scrapping the TV License; Protecting the NHS for privatisation; Preserving the Towns Heritage; Eradicating homelessness in the town; Ensure there is affordable housing for the younger generation to get a better start in life

He feels the days of Career Politicians are over and that it is an exciting time for politics being keen to highlight the mouth-watering prospect of a true Swindonian to be handed the reigns to turn the fortunes of the town in the favour of his neighbours and community.
