Hi, @Marshall2u: I had to revert your work on the above article. It is a British English article and you were changing the language to American English. The work was excellent apart from that. If you fancy having another go, I don't mind, as long as you keep the British English aspect of it. If you don't do it, I'll probably put the changes back in myself except in British English were needed. Thanks. scope_creepTalk 10:59, 19 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Caps

[edit]

Hi, while I'm appreciate your copyediting, please do read MOS:HEADCAPS as you changing most of the headings to capital letters. --Aleenf1 01:31, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Capitalisation

[edit]

Hi there, re: this, we don't typically capitalise title translations. Please note Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Titles#Translations. Regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 23:51, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Also re: the totality of these changes, section headings should be presented in "Sentence case" not "Title Case". See MOS:HEAD. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 00:02, 22 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sincere apologies :( ringette article

[edit]

I am so sorry about the removal of your hard work on the ringette article! I feel terrible. It was not on purpose, please feel free to come back and help at any time! I kept redoing the lead because of criticism from another editor a long time ago that it was too long, so I tried to figure it out and keep reworking it. I'm not professionally trained for this. When I found the article way back, it obviously needed a lot of work and I also keep adding to it.

Unfortunately sources on this topic are so scarce, I can't find single book on the subject, so editors are very much needed. It's become a hunting/collecting project. It's the reason why I keep coming back; if there was a dearth of literature on it, I would have stopped by now :(

If I could write a book I would -_- CheckersBoard (talk) 21:56, 23 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

All is forgiven. Thank you so much for reaching out. Very best, Marshall W. Marshall2u (talk) 22:33, 23 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
