Hi marnues, I updated Hellhammer albums, Steve Warrior was off after Satanic Rites and Ain took over on Death Metal (Split album) and then Apocalyptic Raids, you asked that on the discussion page so there's the answer. And I also noticed you did some work on Dimmu albums, I did too. Cheers! Death2 15:46, 16 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Death2 again. Nice update on Tjodalv. I also worked on two other articles if you could please take a look at them and see if you could improve them. It's Snowy Shaw and Fredrik Nordstrom. I think you know who they are. Thanks! Death2 20:36, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't have anything from Dodheimsgard myself, just know some stuff from editing here and a drive for exploring. Will be hearing you again, we could sort some of other dilemas together. Death2 22:15, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I logged of so this is my first chance to reply. I'm on UTC so it's a bit of a time difference. I do stay up till the small hours so... About the problems: I have written a comment on the Melodic black metal talk_page so we can talk about it there or through our talk pages. I listen to various metal bands and music in general (worked on Gary Moore page and discography, BLUES!!!). About Cradle of Filth and categories in general I think that there should be no further categorisation than the general category Metal. They are a Black metal band whatever anybody thinks, and you could put a hint to Gothic since they incorporate the Romanticism and the slow mood and add symphonic too. What's the problem in that, Children of Bodom are listed in three genres. It's just that somebody can't accept that and others are reluctant to just say "Hell yea, lets do it!!". I also have a certain dilema about those things, being able to accept others opinion but that Melodic black metal just doesn't seem right. That's it, see ya! Death2 14:14, 11 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Metal Poll

[edit]

Hello there. I am an overseer of your brain. I have come to tell you that the Wikimetal Project is holding a poll on the inclusion of certain genres on the heavy metal template and footer that goes onto metal related articles. This poll has a closing date, however, and so here i am, reminding you to vote if you want to, by pumping strange chemicals through your veins. Its hard work being a brain you know!

If you would like to help in this crucial part of the project, the page is here. No, thats not it? Oh my! I posted those pictures of myself, what a devil i am. No the actuall link is here on this link.

I guess ill see you at breakfest when you finally recover from Wikipedia. Bye for now body, your Brain 07:04, 13 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You, Me, Gothic Metal

[edit]

Ive trailex some of your edits. First off, i suggest Reading this article on Gothic Metal. Secondly, if you ahve a problem with my edits, message me about them. Cradle of Filth are not Gothic Metal, and there is a section on the article that deals with the Genre Controversy.

I also noticed yew got in a tiff with someone on the Gothic Metal article. The reason the bands are there is because i certified all of their existances, i however dont do well creating articles. Thus all of the bands meet Notablity, but nobody has taken the time to create the articles yet, as is with many articles on musical genres.

Other than such, have a good day. Ley Shade 07:15, 13 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Already been through the band list thingy several times. Its been voted over and over as a needed part of the article. However, the bands on there are monitered, hence why any NN bands get removed near instantly. The two lists also serve to demonstrate differences. Its all done for a purpose, otherwise it wouldnt be there. Ley Shade 18:38, 13 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I understand your point on the Gothic Metal bands thing. Its best to deal with it as an article by article thing. For Gothic Metal, its a good idea to keep the list there, to solve arguments and show the differences between the stylistic divisions (those who know the bands can see at a glance, those who dont can listen and compare the two lists).
That doesnt mean however, that anons and such should add their favourite bands willy-nilly. I have tried to keep an eye on that list and i may have been lacking in attention perhaps. Ill try to keep it more toned but im on a 1 revert tuling, so this can be hard to keep the bush tamed. Ley Shade 10:52, 20 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Melodic Black METAL

[edit]

I've read you're comments, it camed to me a bit later that OMC could be considered as a Melodic BM. It's just that they create music they like or have a vision to create and then it's really unnecessary to create new genres just to put them in it and classify them. They are what they are! So that is pretty much problem solved, OMC fit's in Melodic BM! Thanks, see ya! Death2 13:18, 17 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dimmu Borgir

[edit]

When you removed Hellhammer from the members list you could have left him on the former list. And take a look at Stormblast re-recorded cause Sagrath and Silenoz decided to do the album theirselves with the help of Hellhammer. Galder did not participated. I will remove that from his article! Death2 07:21, 20 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

New info. It is not sure whether will Hellhammer be the one to participate on the new album or some other session drummer so it's not time to be hasty with conclusions. 83.131.132.106 19:42, 21 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thornography

[edit]

Hi there. I've just reverted your changes to the Thornography page, but I wanted to explain why. Aside from the hash you made of the Roadrunner Records link, I think it's also important to say where the information has come from, hence I've reinstated the part that says that the reports come from Roadrunner and MTV. Without those it just sounds like speculation and hearsay. We need to demonstrate that the info comes from official sources and is therefore correct. As for the "needs a rewrite", the page will obviously need to remain sketchy until more is known about the album. At the moment what's there is basically a press release - I'll be rewriting it as more info becomes available, but if you've got anything useful to add please feel free to contribute. Cardinal Wurzel 17:55, 24 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If you know about this band it's another project of Shagrath of Dimmu. Somebody created the article but it's just a copy of their official webpage, and it's full of wrong links. I'm not even remotely interested in cleaning that so if you are up for it... Ye! Death2 18:55, 25 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You'll easily find their webpage. Lex Icon is under Stian Arnesen. I worked on that article a bit. Luna is a musician... I'm not even sure i understood what is stoner rock (that's their genre somebody said?). Death2 19:01, 25 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

ajfsbga

[edit]

If it's not a problem i'm still working on Shagrath's page so don't revert my recent edits. This is better than that last version which was a copy paste. I noticed that the first time i looked at the article so... Now i'm going to fix that! Death2 22:31, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No, I would say a critical comment about the content not semi-vand. That is acceptable, but not so important. Never mind that, Shagrath is for years an important man in a metal world not becoming! Bye. 22:45, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

I say we send this DEAR WIKIPEDIA I AM MOST DISPLEASED. THIS ARTICLE IS QUITE POORLY WRITTEN to somebody else. Maybe Jimbo Wales User:Jimbo_Wales. Haha, he should be notified! Death2 21:20, 28 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Daemonic Legion

[edit]

I guess you've probably noticed by now, but if not: Fr0 has re-added The Daemonic Legion link to Slaanesh. To try an avoid an edit war, I've started a straw poll on the subject at Talk:Slaanesh#Daemonic Legion straw poll which you're very welcome to contribute to. Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Marnues! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 42 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
