This refers to a comment I posted on House1090 (talk) which he removed and he posted the comment above on my talk page instead. This follows a change I made to War on Terrorism. He reverted that change citing that the change should have been discussed on the article's talk page. But he did this without checking himself whether the change had already been discussed on the talk page or not.

In reply I posted the following comment on his talk page...

Don't revert a change that has already been discussed on the talk page. If you have something to say about the change then do so on the talk page yourself rather than just reverting it. Marlarkey (talk) 10:52, 10 February 2010 (UTC). He subsequently deleted this comment and posted the above comment here instead of responding to my comment on his own talk page.

I've now reinstated my original comment, his reply and the following reply on his talk page but I dare say he'll delete that too.

If you want to comment on my comment then do it here rather than deleting here and posting on my user page. It was pretty poor of you to jump into an article that you haven't been participating in to remove a revision that you haven't discussed on the basis that it should be discussed first on the talk page when you hadn't checked the talk page yourself to see whether there was anything relevant there. Especially when the article is marked as being in need of updating and cleanup and people are referred to the talk pages for more information. Restoring comments

Recently you restored a comment at User talk:House1090 that the editor had removed. Per WP:TALK#User talk pages, please do not do this. If someone removes a comment from their user talk, you can assume it has been read. EdJohnston (talk) 02:26, 11 February 2010 (UTC)

Market Town Category

Hi Marlarkey, I saw you had addded back in the Towns in Bucks Cat for Amersham. Like you I think it was unhelpful to remove it having added the new sub cat of Market Towns so I have readded the Cat to all other Bucks Towns. For once I found the guidance at WP:SUBCAT helpful.
