Managing a conflict of interest

Hello, MarketingSandman. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Sandman Hotels, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

Looking to create factual updates to Wikipedia site, no promotional material is intended - I simply was updating facts on the Sandman page (there is 6 inns not 9) It is not my intention to promote on this account. I understand why I was blocked and can ensure that this won't happen again. My intention is to make useful contributions to the page with factual information such as updating the number of properties and locations. Thank you for your time
