What does "a lead" mean ? @Xx236 Marion Leconte (talk) 14:00, 19 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The lead or lede is the first part of an article's text, if it's a longer article, and briefly describes the impoirtant points detailed in the text below. I don't see the neccessity in that particular case. --SergeWoodzing (talk) 03:31, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Marie-Elisabeth von Humboldt

[edit]

Hello Marion Leconte, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Marie-Elisabeth von Humboldt, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Marie-Elisabeth von Humboldt.

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Klbrain}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Just a quick thank-you from me for expressing your views over at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Marie-Elisabeth von Humboldt. While I understand the desire to increase diversity on Wikipedia, there are plenty of pages just waiting to be written on women who have made a contribution through their own efforts. Regarding Marie-Elisabeth von Humboldt in particular, your translation there is very good! The good news is that with Internations Women's day we're seeing lots of new pages written about women, in part through the great efforts of Women in Red! Klbrain (talk) 10:29, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Klbrain I didnt know there was a group called women in red. Thanks you back for the information. Regards, cordially, Marion (talk) 11:14, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Klbrain : I am happy to consider, finally the article was saved but, I wanted to say, the discussion was really interesting for me to improve my level, usefull experience. Cordially, Marion (talk) 16:16, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I learnt some interesting things too, regarding precedents for parents of famous children! Klbrain (talk) 17:08, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Relecture

[edit]

Marion (talk) 10:55, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
