Hi!
I have some questions regarding the review.
Seco Tools is an existing publicly listed company and not just a part of Sandvik. Where do the info that says otherwise come from?
Wikipedia proposes a merge into the existing article of Seco Tools, though i can not see that such a page exists. The referenced link do not go anywhere.
What makes the sources not reliable? Almost all of them are from third party sources like the Swedish tax authorities, Fagersta tourist information or industry press. Is it that the sources are in swedish? The primary sources that I have used references to the products that Seco Tools produce and their product catalog. Isn't that a reliable source in this subject.
"The proposed article does not have sufficient content to require an article of its own" but the swedish wikipedia assesses that it does. Even though the swedish page has less info and less sources than this one. https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seco_Tools. Why is that?

Apologies for giving the incorrect possible merge location, I meant to suggest the possibility of a merge to Sandvik.
My primary reason for declining the submission was the use of primary sources, namely references 4, 8, 12, 13, 14 and 15. There are some useful links in the notice at the top of the page talking about sourcing that might be of interest.
After providing that reason I added in the "merge to" template to suggest that one option, rather than a stand alone page for what is now a wholly owned subsidiary, would be adding the information to the Sandvik page instead. You should feel free to ignore that suggestion and resubmit it after working on the sources however I wanted to suggest it as a possibility in case you hadn't considered it.
I hope that that helps.

COI query, again

[edit]

Hello Mariellesolander,

I posted earlier a message here on your talk page inviting you to disclose any relationship you may have with the company Seco Tools, and on a related but separate point, to disclose any payments you are receiving or expect to receive for your editing. I don't believe you have responded to my query. Please do so now; the details for how to do this are shown in my earlier message above.

Thank you, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:22, 12 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @DoubleGrazing,
I apologize! I missed the message you’re mentioning and was not aware of the fact that the information should be disclosed. Can you please show me how to do this?
I work for a communications agency that was tasked by Seco Tools to help them translate and develop their existing Swedish Wikipedia article page (https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seco_Tools) Mariellesolander (talk) 10:58, 13 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Two messages earlier on this same page is a section titled 'Managing a conflict of interest', which provides the instructions and more information. Best, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 13:56, 13 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
