Ways to improve Symphony Number One
[edit]Hi, I'm Julietdeltalima. Mariefrance, thanks for creating Symphony Number One!
I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Please read WP:EL regarding Wikipedia's use of inline external links. Composers and musicians shouldn't be linked to an external website, only to a Wikipedia article (if there is one); otherwise, a footnoted reference is necessary.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Julietdeltalima (talk) 18:40, 22 November 2016 (UTC)
Want to help shape the future of the Wikipedia editing experience?
[edit]Hi Mariefrance,
The Design Research team at the Wikimedia Foundation is currently seeking relatively newcomer Wikipedians for user studies about their experience with current editing tools and to test out some prototype editing tools. If you’re interested in helping to shape the future of editing on Wikipedia, we would love to have you participate! The study session will take approximately 30 minutes, maximum of 45 minutes.
The study will take place in the next couple weeks, and will require participants to have access to a webcam and microphone (or a laptop with built in cam & mic), with a quiet place to go for a research session. To participate, please email dchen[at]wikimedia.org and include the following information:
- Username
- Email where we can reach you
- Your city or time zone
- Best time to talk to you
Please let me know if you have any questions! Look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Daisy Chen

ArbCom 2017 election voter message
[edit]Hello, Mariefrance. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for January 17
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Martha Callison Horst, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chen Yi (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:59, 17 January 2018 (UTC)
Martha Callison Horst
[edit]I have had to delete the Biography section of Martha Callison Horst because it was a copyright violation of this site. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, see this page. If you want to write a new biography section for the article, you will need to write the material in your own words and not copy/paste paragraphs, sentences and phrases from other sources. If I can be of any help, please ask. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 11:39, 23 January 2018 (UTC)

Your draft article, Draft:Hunt's Memorial United Methodist Church
[edit]
Hello, Mariefrance. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Hunt's Memorial United Methodist Church".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply and remove the {{db-afc}}
, {{db-draft}}
, or {{db-g13}}
code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Legacypac (talk) 10:17, 3 March 2019 (UTC)
Women in Red
[edit]Hi there, Mariefrance, and welcome to Women in Red. As you have not yet created any biographies, you should perhaps look through our Ten Simple Rules. You might be inspired to choose one of the redlinked names on our crowd-sourced and Wikidata lists of composers. Please let me know if you run into any difficulties or need assistance. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 06:39, 11 June 2019 (UTC)

Women in Red 8th Anniversary |
In July 2015 around 15.5% of the English Wikipedia's biographies were about women. As of July 2023, 19.61% of the English Wikipedia's biographies are about women. That's a lot of biographies created in the effort to close the gender gap. Happy 8th Anniversary! Join us for some virtual cake and add comments or memories and please keep on editing to close the gap! |
